Horsos.-rA large number have brcuo-ht forward, and have found ready purchasers. Draught Btsock sold particularly well, a pair of which realised £9S. Light-harness horses and h*cks also sold well. We quote hacks from £(3 10s to £24; lighs-harness, £lo os to £25. . ... Cattle.—There has not been not quite so much animation in the market. At Newmarket, on Tuesday, Mr Bartons pedigree bull, 'Pride of Ohinerau, was purchased by Mr Frederick Bayly, of Taranaki, for £QO. For butchers' pens biddiug was languid, at 30a per 100 lba. We qtfote dairy cows from £7 5* to £l2 ; yearling Btcera, £2 15s to £3 2s 6d ; two-year-olds, from £4 5* to £5 7s ; three-year-old steers, from £5 10a to £6.. Sheep: Last weeksprices were barely sustained. Lambs were in good condition, and sold at from 6s Gd to l'3s.
