Particulars in future advertisement. PLOUGHING. lENDERS are required for Ploughing 3000 Acres Land, and for Harrowing 2000 Acres of same for Mr J. C. Fibth, at Matamata, under the following conditions, viz . —The Land is level, and in all cases will be Cleared ready for Contractors. Contracts fob No 1 Portion. 2000 ACRES to be Ploughed not less than four inches deep ; to be Harrowed three times. Ploughing must commence not later than December 9, 1878, and the whole work must be completed not later than Feb. 28,1879, or 10 per cent of value of work done will De forfeited. One half of each portion contracted for must be finished before January 19, 1879 ; iii default, such contract will te torminated and re-let. Contracts fob No 2 Portion. 1000 ACRES of Clover Land to be twice Ploughed. 'First Ploughing to be thin furrowed, to commence not later than March 1, 1879, and to be finished not later than April 15, 1879. Sbcond Ploughing, not less than five inches deep, to commence on April 15, and to be finished not later than June 1, 1879, or 10 per cent of value of work done will be forfeited and contract terminated and re-let. All Furrows in Contracts Nos 1 and 2 mast be clean cut and well turned over. Only Double-furrow Ploughs to be used. The whole of the work must be done to the satifaction of Mr Cawkwbll, who will point out the ground to tenderers, The proprietor will provide Harrowß, together with free pasture for three horses ior each double-furrow plough or set of harrows used; one extra horse to each team of three will be allowed to run at grass free; grazing of every horse beyond that allowance will be charged for. Chaffed oaten hay, if necessary, will be supplied after harvest, within three miles of the ground, at £5 per ton, con* tractors finding bags. Oats, maize, or bran will be delivered at the Pakopako Landing, on the Thames River, near the ground, at Auckland wholesale prices, in quantities of not less than one ton, with 30s per ton added for river carriage. Mutton supplied at 3d per lb by the carcase. Seventy-five per cent of value of work done will be paid as work proceeds, balance at finish. Tenders must not be for less than 125 Acres of No 1 Contract at per- Acre, and for not less than 60 Acres of No 2 Contract at per Acre for the two ploughings—the object being to provide continuous work from December to June.
