Sib, — I find that some of our Highway Boards who have been receiving and spending funds from the Government, and collecting rates, must have been doing these things illegally, as Beveral of them have not been gazetted either in the ' New Zealand Government Gazette,' or the ' N.Z. Herald.' I allude more particularly to the Tuhikaramea and Mangapiko Boards. Such neglect is not creditable to the Boards. — I am, &c, A Ratepayer.
