Ultimately, Mr Johns oue'.s amendment of this day six mouths was negatived oa the voices, smd Mr Stout's amendment, that the Bill be read a second time to-morrow, was agree.! to on the voices. The arrangemerit is that to-morrow the order be disch irged and the Bill withdrawn. On the motion of Mr B.illance, the order for the second rending of iho Companies Duty Bill was at onoe discharged 'and the Bill withdrawn.
