MDLLE CHARBONNET.

Hamilton, last night enjoyed the greatest of musical treats, iu the performance of Mcllle Charbonnet. We were prepared bo be delighted, but were absolutely charmed by the exquisite ability of this ncornplisljtd artiste. The performance of

many lustVuuiun alUts are remarkable an evidences of skill- -in Mdlle. Chat bonnet we have somethng more—a musicd rytlim and harmony which cause the listener to forget the wonderful skill of the executionist, in the volume of harmony which the instrument produces at her will. The Ball was full, and again and again the re tiewed applause testified to the spirit of accord between audience and performer, and in no case more so than in the beautifully reuderel piece from "The Grand" Duchess," iu the first part of the performance. Nor must we forget to mention the very great attraction which the singing of Miss Seville proved. This young lady has a f u ll, rich soprano voice, and shared with Mdlle. Charbonnet, the applause of the audience. At the close of the second part, Mr M mtao-ue, on behalf of Mdlle. Charbonnet, came forward, and thanked the people of Hamilton for their warm' patronage and encouragement, butthe thanks of the Hamilton public are the rather due to that lady for haviug afforded them so intellectual an entertainment as that which they had the opportunity of enjoying on that occasion. Mdlle. Charbonuet svill appear to-night at Cmbridge, and we can heartily recommend all lovers of music to avail themselves of the opportunity of hearing her.
