AT a Special Meeting of the Waipa County Council, held at Ohaupo, on Monday, the 23rd day of September, 1878, the Council, by Special Order, resolved to alter the Number of Ridings by creating a New Riding, comprising the present Highway District of Tuhikaramea, and severing that District from the Mangapiko Riding. It was further resolved, by Special Order, that the iNew Riding do Return One Member, to the Council.
