MR. A. BUCKLAND'S WEEKLY REPOBT.' ' At the Haymarket, on Friday last, hides were m full supply ; prices are lower, particularly for light hides, those being 2jd to 3d per lb ; heavy hides, 3£d to 3§d per lb. Sheepskins are now, in full wool, and ai'e at corresponding high values — 4s 8d to os 9d each ; inferior, from 3s. — At Remuera to-day, 12th inst. ? dairy stock were slightly better worth. They were of medium quality, and brought from £6 M £8/I.os.each. btore cattle were m moderate number, and about 100 head sold ; : ■ = iate i prices were sustained, but bidding, was slow. ; Fat cattle were m average supply, 103 head sold ; prices advanced on last week's quotations: best quality brought •: 50s, and medium from 40a the 1001bs. : The fat sheep market was filled, and all yarded met with a brisk demand at an advance. of M £d.( per lb over last' week ; 4jd to ad were, the ruling prices. At Newmarket some reached fully oOs per lOOlbs. We quote : Dairy cows from £6 to £10 7s 6d ; weaned calves and yearlings, from £2 to £3 17s 6d ; li and 2 year old steers from £■£ to £5 os ; 3 year old steers, from £6 to JS6 15s ; dry cows, from £3 to to 15s ; 2 year old heifers, £4 to £5 ss. The supply of sheep has been moderate. At Newmarket prices were a shade higher than last week. We quote : Best wethers, from 2os Gdto 30s 6d; mixed sexes, from 16s 6d to 20s.
