Doo Collabs are now ready for issue, by Mr Fitzgerald, to owners of these animals m the Pukekura district. The Children^ Concerts m Hamilton have been a decided success, and the third will come off on Friday, the 13th. inst;, m the Court House, Hamilton. Mr Cox, to whose personal exertions, and to the musical ability of whose family mnch of the success which attended the last concert held m the Couit House is attributable, endeavoured to make the East and West Hamilton Concerts a united affair, and to hold them m a more suitable place than either the- Court House or the East Hamilton School, but unfortunately all attempts at arrangement fell through, and therefore the next concert will be given m the Oourt House. The public are promised as good a performance as the last, and as everybody present on that occasion, especially the children, appeared to heartily enjoy themselves, we may safely predict a full house and plenty of fun to-morrow week. A meeting of the ratepayers of the late Highway District of Hamilton East is called for Tuesday evening next, at the Royal Hotel, to consider how and where their share of the County funds should be spent. Of course, any conclusion the meeting may arrive at can. be only recommendatory, as the money belongs not to the ratepayers of the late East Hamilton Highway District, biit to the Borough as a whole. The members of the Shooting Club of the Hamilton Contingent of Te Awamutu Cavalry Volunteers will compete for prizes at the butts at 9 a.m. on Saturday next.
