In accordance wijh fcbe standing orders of the Council which empower a member to give nofcice of motion for uexfc sitting day, between the adjournment" of one regular meeting, and the sitting of another by leaving such notices of motion with the Clerk throe clear days before tbe day of meeting, Or. Potter yesterday gave tbe following three n.fcices of motion for Monday, tbe 2nd. proximo. Thafc all -official letters, telegrams, documents, papers aiid correspondence addressed to or left for the Mayor, Town Clerk, Council or any other form be retained by the Town Clerk, for reference for Councillors ■-..-■■: To ask what instruction has been given to Mr Breackell, Surveyor to.the Borough Council, respecting the making maps of the Borough and taking the levels of the Borough, and what -that gentleman has done m accordance with such instructions. To ask what has been the gross revenue of the Borough up to date. What has been expended, stating upon what aud when, and the parties performing and supplying work and material, or separately, as the case may bs, laying upon tho table a return of the same.
