It is with" sincere regret that I have to record the death of Mrs C. Day, of Whatewhata.; The decanted, .-was almost quiet and unassuming 1 Lady, and was respected aud.estewnefl by. all who knew fcer. ' Her sudden ueath has cast quite a gloom over the district. Mr Day will have many sympathisers with hnn in his loss. — Own Correspondent.
