[reutek's special calogram.] i In the House of Commons, Mr Gorst, m calling attention to the execution of Taurua, a South Sea native, by order of the comtnaador of Her Majesty's schooner Beagle, moved that instructions be issued defining the authority of naval officers m similar cases. The Government exonerated the officers of the Beagle, and the First Lord of the Admiralty said, if desired, specific instructions should be issued.
