THE PAKURANGA HOUNDS.

Yestebclly the Pakuranga hounds, thirteen couples, in charge of the huntsman, Mr Joseph Roberts, and an assistant arrived by the midday train at the Hamilton Station. The sight of a pack of hounds and their huntsmen in pink was a novelty in Hamilton, and attracted some little attention. They were met at the station by Mr R. Gwynne, by whom a loose stall in the Barracks stable had, through the kindness of Sergeant McGovern, been secured for their accommodation yesterday afternoon and last night. They proceed to Cambridge to-day. and will throw off on Wednesday at 11 30 p.m., at Broad Meadows. Gapt. Walmsley, with his usual hospitality, in good old English style, providing luncheon for the Held.
