At Reinuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle Ayere m usual, number, and at late values ; average cattle brought from £7 10s to £U each. The store cattle Avere confined to a few cows ; those brought front £4 10s to £5 ,15s each. Fat cattle were in 'usual number — 118 head yarded; prices were loAyer than last week, and fell as the sale proceeded ; at the opening of the sale, best quality were at 37s 6d, but at the close 34s and 3os the lOOlbs. were the ruling prices for well-fatted steers. Store sheep Avere m moderate number and sloav demand. Fat sheep were unusually numerous—above, 1200 sold ; prices improved as the sale proceeded, and an advance of nearly £d per lb. was obtained by the last sold over those sold earlier m the sale; prices ranged from 2}d for ewes to 3^d for wethers, and 4d for lambs; AA r erages obtained Avere: — 30 steers, J.C.
