Waikaio Times: Office, Friday Evening. AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. MB ALFRED BTIfeKIiAND'S -WEEKLY REPORT. At Hemuera, on Thursday, best dairy cows brought from £9 to £l2 ;, medium, £6 and £7 each. Store cattle in good inquiry, particularly grown cattle. Fat cattle usual number; 120 head sold; s:ood quality scarce, and at fully last week's values—3ss the lOOlbs, but medium quality were at lower values than last week, and ranged from 27s 6d the lOOlbs. Sheep were in less number than usual, and for good quality an improved price was obtained. MESSRS HUNTER AND NOLAN'S WEEKLY . . . ■ i; REPORT; . ■. -■■ , There was a large muster of cattle on Tuesday, at Newmarket, the dairy pens being quite full. We quote : Dairy cows, £8 10s to £ll 12s 6d; yearling steers, from £2 15s to £3'; one - and a half and two-year old from £i to £5 6s; three and four-year old, from £6 to £7; two-year-old heifers, from £4 10s to £5 10s ; store cows, £3 10s to'£4 ( los; weaned calves, £1 10s to £2 15s. Sheep, at Newmarket, on Tuesday, were in full supply, but prices had a downward tendency. We quote' .wethers; at 18s 6d to 20s 6d; fat ewes, 15£ 6d to 17s 6d.
