WAIKATO STEAM NAVIGATION AND COALMINING COMPANY (LIMITED). NOTICE . TO SHIPPERS OF GOODS TO WAIKATO. The Company beg to notify that their present system of taking charge of Goods for Waikaio, whioh for years past has proved so* convenient and satisfactory both to dippers and Consignees, will be discontinued. This alteration has become necessary m consequence of the Railway Department refusing all facilities for a through trafhe. From and after the ISth iust., Shipper will please consign all Goods for VVaikato to Oare of W.S.N. Co., -Mercer. The Company will pay Railway Carriage to Mercer, and forward tho Goods to all parts of Waikato with care and despatch. Down Freight for Auckland will be handed over to Railway at Mercer, Kates of Freight will be the same as those charged by Bailway. FRANZ SCHERFF, Secretary. Auckland, February 4, 1578.
