Waikato Times Office, Friday Evening. AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were at lower values. No store cattle were yarded. Fat cattle, short of usual numbers; 107 head penned; last week's prices, averaging 35s for cattle of good quality were fully sustained Sheep were in usual numbers, prices remaining low. An ocasional pen of choice wethers reached 3d per lb., but the greater number were sold at 2|d. Pigs were plentiful, and those in good condition sold better than last w«ek; those in low condition, at nominal values; good animals brought from 2£d to 3£d per lb. MESSBB HUNTBR AND NOLAN'S WEEKLY EBPOET. Horses Dulncss characterised the market, and very few sales were effected on Friday. At the Durham Yards a limited number were entered, and of a very indefferent stamp; bidding was slow, and for several lots reserves could not be reached. Cattle Notwithstanding the very rough weather the market has been active. At Mewmarket, on Tuesday, considering the continual downpour, there was a g.7od muster of stock, and the previous week's prices were well sustained and there remained demand for nearly all descriptions. There was no noteworthy •Iteration in quotations. Sheep— aheep were in adequate supply, and corresponding demand, and prices had a slightly upward tendency. Pigs were not quite so plentiful as for the two previous weeks, but there was no alteration in value. v At the Ohaupo cattle sale, on Tuesday, there was a smaller number offered than usual, in consequence of the bad weather. The greater part of those sold brought good prices, especially beef. Some fat wethers realised fair prices.
