GENTLEMEN,— Ihave great pleasure in acceding to the request contained in your very flatte'ing Requisition, and in the event of being returned as your representative, pledge myself to use my best energies to advance the interests of the whole district. It will afford me great satisfaction to meet the Electors of Waipa at the different centres of population, and give a full explanation of my views regarding all the momentous questions that are at present engaging the attention of the public.
