The second innings ot their opponents' closed for 80. The game was won by the Australians with five wickets. The top score on the Australian side was, made by Midwinter : First, innings 32 ; second, 15. Charles Bannerman : First innings, 1 ; second, 31. Shutter : First innings, 39 ; second, 15, Pooley : First innings, 29 ; second, 7. Spofforth obtained 8 wickets m the first innings. Barrett got a similar number.
