At the Cambridge Yards on the Kith instant, there was a fair muster of cattle {principally beof), and, although the day was miserably wet, a fair attendance of buyers. Above 20 head of fat cattle, besides stores and dairy cattle, exchanged hands. No sheep were yarded.r- At the Oli'dnpo Yards on the 30th instant, there was a very large muster of cattle, and, ft corresponding attendance of buyers ! for all' classes of stock, consequently a very successful sale ensued.' For fat cattle there was an eager demand, and prices ruled fully 20 per cent, higher than the previous sale. About "• 40 head -of fat cuttle, and all stores yarded, with few exceptions changed hands. We quote :— - Fat steers, ?.}. to 3-year-olds, from £6 10/ to £7 •'>! ; *at i.ws, £G 10/ to £7 16/ ; a jjen of fat 4-year-old steers, iijß IT/6 each ; weaned cabees, 25/ to 40' ; yearlings, 55/ to 60/ : fat ewes, 12/ ; shorn- lamb.«, fl/y to 7/.
