Woe unto you Mayor and Councillors for ye leave hole.-? m the streets which would swallow Cooper and Bailey's elephants, and pass a By-law, which would subject a man to pay a penalty of five pounds (£0) for throwing an orange peel upon :my street, t-'ir, there is a. street not half a mile from Cr. Coates' residence which requires 40 or 50 yards of orangepeel, or some other material to fill a great hole, which is m the middle of that street, "which, if tho Council neglect, I very much think that Cr. Bcale will have a large bill to sand m before our winter is over.— lain, &c, E. S It.
