A MEETING of the above Cdunoil will be held on FKIDAY, 17th day of M*y, 1878, for the purpeme of taking into consideration the Stoppage of the Hoad at Sections 101, 103, to 115 and 116, Hautapu ; which Boad, it has been decided by the [Ratepayers of the Cambridge Highway District to Stop, at a Meeting held for that purpose on Batur* day, May 4, instant. NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Counoil of Hamilton, at a Special Meeting held on the 29th day of April, 1878, determined to adopt By-Law No. 1, "To provide for the Better Rule and Government of the Borough of Hamilton." Also, By-Law No. 2, " For the Regulation of the Borough of Hamilton Abbatoire." Such By -Laws were amended at Section No. 9, By-Law No. 2, and finally adopted and confirmed at a Special Meeting of the Council, held on Wednesday, the Bth day of May, 1878.
