EEPOBT. i\T Remuera, on Thursday, good daiiy coavs at profit were at fully late values . they brought from £9 10s to £13 each Above 300 stores were penned, and sold freely at satisfactory prices. Grown steers brought £5 10s to £5 los; two-year-old steers £6 12s 6d to £6 2s 6d ; yearling steers, £3 ss; dry cows, £3 15s; to £i 10s ; two to three-year-old heifers, £3 12s 6d to £5 ss; yearling heifers, £2 7s Gd ; calves, mixed sexes, from 27s to 50s Gd each. Fat cattle were m less numbers than usual, hut sold irregularly. Prices varied from 23s for cows to 28s for best steers, averaging 2Gs the lOOlbs. The sheep pens were crowded both with stores and fat sheep. Last week's values were uot sustained, and several pens were withdrawn. Longwooled ewes brought Is to 6s Gd ; medium fatted, mixed sexes, 9s tv lis; first-class wethers, 13s to 18s each. Fat lambs "were m good enquiry at from 8s to 10s each. MESSRS UUNTEK AND NOLANS WEEKLY KEPORT. Cattle.— 'There was a very good muster on Wednesday. Dairy stock aud stores were well represented. Fat beasts were m adequate supply. Good daiiy cows were remarkably high m price, but inferior were relatively lower ; prices ranged from £8 to £11 7s Gd. Stores averaged tt shade higher than last quotations. Fat beasts were m steady demand at barely last week's prices. Sheei - ). — The Newmarket yards were well filled. The cargo ex Hauraki sold well. Fat wethers ranged from 19s to 235 ; ewes, from 13s Gd to* 17s 9d. Lambs were also m good supply, and sold well.
