DEATH.
Bkere, on the 17th inst., at Beereafort, Hamilton, Waikato, Chaeles Geobge, third and beloved son of Captain G. B. Beere; aged two years and eleven months. TARAWHITI.— On the April 11, at Tauphi, Sarah, eldest granddaughter of the Rev. Seth Tarawhiti, departed this life aged 11 years. — She was a girl of much promise, able to read English and native, and was one of the best scholars, and m the first class at the Taupiri fcchool. She had been one year ago at school m Auckland. After bearing with much patience a lingering illness, whi3h terminated m dropsy, she was called away m simple reliance on her Saviour. The Rev. S. Tarawhiti, by the kind advice of Dr Waddington, took her to the hospital m Auckland, and desires to place on record the great -kindness she received from Dr Philson, for which he is deeply grateful.
