It is not often that we have a visit from the Bishop, therefore we can appreciate ib when it does occur, this was shown by the large congregation which assembled m tho sciioolhouse on Sunday afternoon to hear Bishop Cnvie. His Lordship preached a most impressive sermon. In the course of hi 3 remarks, he alluded to the want that has been to long felb m WhataWhata for a suitable building to have services m, and hid Lordship thought th. t, although a church would ba preferable, the present school-house .would auswer tho purpose very well, until the district was m a position to build a church. Mr Salmon will have a lay service on next Sunday aficrnoo:). AH our beob men are pepuing for the concert that is to take place, on next Friday evening, the tickets are ,i slight improvement ou the l.is!-, being- 2-i CJ, iuste-id of I=, however die reporter will surely get a ticket. — Ouiuiespoxdent.
