Mouey . is m less demand, and rates are dropping. The Bank rate is 2 per cent.
The Bank of England gold reserve has been weakened by gold withdrawals
Consols are 95$
The market for Australian securities show a downward tendency. The price of New Zealand Consolidated Five per Cents, is quoted at 104.
The wool sale shows considerable weakness as the sales progress. The languor m the demand led to several withdrawals.
