In sheep, prices ranged from /2 per lb for ewesjo /2 J for best wethers. HUNTEE AND NOLAN S WEEKLY EEPORT. Dairy cows, from £8 to £9 2/6 ; weaned calves, 30/ to 45/ ; yearlings, from 45/ to 70/ ; two and three-year-old steers, from 90s to £6. Sheep were short of requirements, and for those suitable for the butcher an advance of fully /J per lb was given. Some really fine lambs, principally from WaikaJto, m wool, sold at from 9/9 to 13/3 ; shorn, from 8/ to 10/3. Mutton, /3 per lb.
