Mr Drabble m seconding the proposal said that he had sixteen horses and several men employed on the company's ground aud he was put to great expense and inconvenience through the snags m the creek, as instead of being able to bring his horse feed np to within a few # yards of his own door, as he could, if the creek- was snagged, he could Only come within a mile aud a half, aud had to employ labour to carry it the remaining distance, there being no dray road to the landing place.
