AUCKLAND CATTLE MARKET.

KB ALFBKD BTJOKLAND'B WEEKLY BBPOBT. At Remuera, on Thursday, 1 dairy cattle were fairly represented and m moderate inquiry. They brought from 458 10/ to £10 10/ each. Store cattle were more plentiful than usual, with a »teady demand at fully late values. Fat cattle, m less than average number: 107 head yarded; prices, from 24/ to 27/ the lOOlbs. Last wteks prices were barely sustained. Store sheep and lambs, m better enqniry. Fat sheep, m less than usual number, but with no improvement m value, from /2£ to /2f the lb. Averages obtained were : — 39 head mixed sexes, Hugh Knox, £85/6; 11 steera, Elliott and Bayly, £8 17/; 8 cows, A. Kay, £6 6/; 16 steers, C. J. Storey, £9 1/6. At Newmarket, on Tuesday, about an average number of dairy cowe were yarded, and an ample number of fat beasts, but stores were very poorly represented.
