Several members of the Cambridge Brass Band^ who had kipdly volunteered their services, arriving about this time, some good music was played throughout the day, whioh .added j?reatly to the enjoyment of j aU present. Foot-races of boys and girls then began to foUow one upon the other rapidly, ,/ pad .the^e were foUowed by wheelbarrow, sack, and thpee-legged races, jumping, etc. Knives, handkerchiefs, books, and Uluminated cards, were m | abundant supply for prizes. At five o'clock, aU were again called together for tea, after which preparations were made for moving home. Many visitors from aU parts of the distriot were present m buggies and on horseback — the invitation being general to 'the members of the 'church and congregation. Besides money contributions, kind friends sent m fruit, milk, butter, cordials, and other, good things. The kindness of Mr and Mrs Fantham, notwithstanding harvest's busy time, m supplying fruit and milk, and other wants too numerous to mention, was very great. Before leaving the grounds, the chUdren gave several rounds of hearty cheers for aU those who had contributed so materially to the day's enjoyment.
