RIOTS IN MELBOURNE.
(PRESS AGENCY.] .Melbourne!, .February 5. The West Melbourne election resul ed as follows : — Sir B. O'Loghlan, 1964; Mr F.ancis, 1839. It passed off without disturbance. Sir B. O'Loghlan was returned with a majority. All was qniet till after the • poll, . when a crowd of several thousands proceeded to the .' rgus' offic * and broke the windows, aud yelled and hooted, The cr-twd did the same thing at the Telegraph office. Two con stables on duty at the Argus offioe were muoh injured by road metal thrown at them.
