THAMES WAIKATO RAILWAY.
The following circular has be^n addressed to the Chairmen of County Councils by the Thames County Council :— " The Thames County Council proposes a conference with the Piako and Waikato CounoiK to be held at Hamilton aboui the 1 4th or 15th of the present monthas may suit their convenience, to consider the question of the Thames Waikato Railway The main road and a bridge to eonnect the counties— Compensation for exemption of native lands from rating, and other matters of common interest whfah ; t may be desirable' to submit to Parliament next session."
