TELEGRAPH MESSAGES.
Sir, — Can you inform, me on what authority the telegraph messenger at Hamilton charges a penny extra for delivery of a telegram from the office to people on our side the river. Presumably it is for the ferry charge, but, as probably the boy brings over more than one telegram at a time, surely a penny extra should nofo^ft charged to each. — I am, etc., Hamilton » East. ♦
