Titi opening match of the season was played on Saturday last at Hamilton between tbe Unite, t C.C. and the Jliriki. KWa C! 0. ' The batting and bowling were hotb as good as could be expected so curly m the season before as yet there has been time for regular practice. The fielding too<' was .remarkably good oa the part of : thetUnited Club, and the batting of J. Wood lor the KirikiriroaClub was worthy cf commendation.
