At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cows were brought forward m limited numbers. ' and those were of second cl»ss quality only. Store cat M ein full supply, and for well-bred stock m first class condi'ion there was keen competition, but co&rte arttmala sold at low figures Fat cattle plentiful : 159 he td sold to the trade, being about 50 head over the average number. Tbey were all of good quality, and last week's pices Were maintained throughout the sale. Fat sheep m full supply, and of p>ime quality : 550 were sold at late prices. Lambs scarce, and at extreme prices. Fat pigs scarce, and sold at high figures. Dairy cows brough< from £6 12s 6d to £9 15, ; calves and .yearlings, £2 to £3 2s 6.1. Any cows m forward condition £5 2$ dd to £5 15* ; two to three year old steers £5 5 a to £6 15s ••ach ; fat cattle, 33s the lOOlbs ; fat sheep 3£d the ft> ; fat lambs, from 7s 6d to 16s eecb. MESSRS.
