In another column will be found the full report of (Sir George Grey's Ministerial statement, delivered on Monday night last, and received yesterday by telegram from Wellington. Sir George Grey lias evidently the welfare of the Colony ' at heart, and the policy sketche out, m its main features, will generally commend, uself ; but we fear that it is wanting m that wjiich will secure the support of the Aasembly —a practical dealing with questions the settlement of which can no longer be delayed, such, for instance, as the amendment of the Counties Act and others we could mention. There is a vagueness and diffuseness about it that will , fail to satisfy a large section of the House, and we shall not be at all surprised to find that the want ot confidence motion alluded to by our correspondent is not only proposed but carried, and that, too, by a majority greater than that by which the late Ministry was defeated.
