REPULSE OF THE MONTENEGRINS. THE LOSS OF THE AVALANCHE. THE GREAT TURF FRAUD. [Reuter's Telegrams.] Bombay, Sept. 14, 2.21 p.m. It is reported that Sulieinan Pasha has crossed the Balkans. A Turkish official despatch states that Hayfiz has I .)fepiilsed a violent attack of the Montenegrins. In the collision between the Avalanche and the American ship Forest, the captain, B.ilward, and thirteen of the crew of the Forest were drowned. Chief Inspector Clarke has been arrested for alleged conspiracy m the great turf fraud.
