Friday evening. ALFRED BUOKLAND REPORTS. At Remuera on Tuesday, dairy cattle were in leaa than usual supply, and of indifferent quality. Store cattle in larger supply than ciutomary, with a good demand at fully late values. Fat cattle in full numbers, but mostly of inferior quality ; prices lower. Sheep in less than usual supply, with an unusual demand; prices advanced >2d the lb. Lambs in larger number than last week, but consequent on the scarcity of sheep, 2a 6d each higher in price. Pigs of good quality and moderate supply, but dull of* sale and low in price, prices obtained were : — Dairy cows, £6to £7 153 ; calves 35s to 37s 6d : yearlings, 603 .to 7ls ; two-year-old steers, £5 103 to- £6 10s ? grown heifers and cows, £5 6s to £6 2s 6d ; fat cattle of good quality, 34s to 365; inferior, from 30s the 100 lbs ; fat sheep, Gd the lb ; fat lambs, 10s 6d to 16s each ; store ewes, 6a to 10s ; fat pigs, 2£d to 3dthelb.
