Mb Alfbbd Buckland reports, at the Ohaupo cattle sale held On Tuesday lltb September, theie was an unn-ually large muster of cattlo of all descriptions, especially steera of a good class, two. to three years old. The price of cattle throughout the sale was a sha *c lower than at the last market, but well-bred steers and heifers were eagerly competed for at full values. 431 head of cattle .were yarded, and all sold with the exception of 12 head of coarse three year old steers. 77 ewes with lambs of good quality, but fall mouthed brought. lss the couple ;57 half* bred aged ewes, with lambs 8s 3d the couple. The entire horse, St Andrew, was sold at £50. An active buggy mare brought £14 ss ; medium draught mare brought £26 5s ; ten months old foal £6 15s ', light riding horses £7 each.
