Waikato Times Office, Friday evening. ALFRED BUCKLAND REPORTS. On Friday Horse stock were offered in limited number, and little business done; a medium daaught mare brought £25 10a; light harness, £l4 to £8 ; riding horses, £5 6s to £l4, Hides were in less nunr ber than average j prices firmly sus" tained ; sound hides brought 4d and 4£d ; calf skins, 4|d the lb. Skins in full number, with steady demand at late prices ; best skins brought from 4i 6d to 5s 9d each ; wool from 5d to 8d the lb. Atßemuera, on September 6th, dairy cattle were in moderate members, and ndiffereht demand ; ordinary cattle brought from £6 to £8 10s ; a very choice bred heifer, £l2 15s. Store cattle more abundant than usual, with a fair inquiry at lute values. Fat cattle in usual number ; 112 head yarded ; prices lower tiiau last week, Bud ranged from 33s to 37s the lOOlbs. Fat sheep in full numbers: 500 yarded ; last week’s values, at 41 the lb obtained for them. Lmibs, first for this season, were oi variable quality; 35 sold, varying from 8s to 18s each. A pen of ewes, in low condition, with lambs at side, brought 10s each. Pigs of good quality, both fat and store, were in better than usual supply, and met with a good sale. Fat calves scarce.
