[From Oar Special Correspondent.] Government Buildings, Thursday. McL AURIN L AN D CLAIM. la the House to-day, Mr A. Cox presented a petition from Robert McLaurin, of Te Awamutu, school teacher, with reference to a grant of land m lieu of passage money, which he had paid. • THE.WAIKATO FRONTIER. Sir George Grey gave notice to ask the Government if they will lay on the table copies of any correspondence m reference to the removal of head quarters to Kihikihi, also correspondence between the Chairman ot the Rangiaohia Highway Board and the Government on the subject of-the condition of affairs on the frontier.
