MANGAPIKO HIGHWAY DISTRICT BOARD MEETING.
In coneequenoe of the late election ot Highway trustees being informal, a fresh election took place on Saturday last at the Patarangi School-house at 2 o'clock. Proceedings commenced by Mr Tisdall readiog the " Gizetto" containing his appointment as Chairman, and stating the business o the meeting. Thd following gentlemen were nominated as Trustees, Messrs Tiadall, Hume, Wobb, J H Scott, and Rutherford, and declared duly elected. Mesere A J Scott, an i Legerwood were appointed auditors, and Messrs Monro aud Meredith, f9nceviewers for the ensuing year, proceedings then ter« minated by Mr Tisdall vacating the chair. Another meeting immediatdy took place for the purpose of discussing certain matters of interest to tho district. Mr Maunder being placed m the chair tUe. following resolutions were brought!

Carried. This being all the business the meeting terminated after passing the usual vjte 01 tliauka to the chairman.
