CONTINU RD FIGHTING AT SHIPKA PASS.
OSMAN PASHA REPULSES A RUSSIAN RECONNAISANCE. Bombay, August 23. 10.53 pm. Fighting at the Shipka Pass- was still proceeding at noon yesterday. A Russian official dispatch says repeated attacks by the Turkish, forces have been repulsed .with heavy loss. ' Osman Pasha, commanding the Turkish army at Plevna, reports having" repulsed a Russian reconnaisance near that place.
