Mr Alfred Buckland reports: At the Obaupo cattle Bale held .on Tuesday, 14th August, more than the number oi cattle advertised were yarded, and all sold at satisfactory prioea. 116 head of cattle (mixed sexes) were brought forward mostly in very low condition, and sold at the following prices : — Weaued calves, £2 2s 6i to £3 ; two-year old heiiers, £4 and £4 10a ; steers, well bred, £5 10s to £6 ; cows, t'4 15s to Jt*s 12s 6d.
