The Emperors of Germany and Austria had a meeting at Ischel, a town of Upper Austria, near Salzburg. . ... ■ The participation of Greece and Servia in the fUsso-Turkish war is considered certain. The Agent-Geneaal's telegram, dated London, August 11th, states that the Ru^siana were defeated with great loss^at-'. Lovatiz, a town of 7500 inhabitants, south of Plevna. It is reported that the Russians who were driven from south of the Balkans, are now holding the Onlik, Shibka and Bosteiogieo Passes. The Russians are in great force before Plevna, and Roumanian troopa are crossing the Danube, to attack the Turkish left. The Emperor of Russia inspected the Army of the Oezarewish. The Servians are reported as preparing to renew offensive operations against Turkey. A Turkish envoy will visit London and Vienna on behalf of the Porte. It is said that Austria objects to any uew order of things being created without her co-operation.
