ALFRED BUCKLAND REPORI3. ; At JRemuera, on Thursday, dairy cattle were jin moderate numbers and fair inquiry. Prices' ranged from dGB to £11. Store cattle more numerous than of late, with a better inquiry, mostly m low condition. Well-brei 10 months' calves brought £3 2s; others, £2 7s; 18 months' old, £3 16s ; three-year old steers, £5 15a to £6 7 a 6d each ; fat calves 3carce, aud at extreme values. Fab cattle ia moderate numbers ; 106 head yarded, all of good quality. advanced 3s to 4s, and ranged from 32s to 343 per lOOlbs. No store sheep yarded. Fat sheep m usual supply, 450 sold : prices slightly higher thau last week, and realised 24 the 9), Pigs plentiful and of good qauality ; they were fairly competed for throughtout the sale at last market values. Averages obtained were: —A Stewart; 5 steers, £11 15s ; Henry Williams, 20 cows, £8 18a ; .A and J Wallace, 23 head, £8 17s 6d j A Mactier, 36 steers, £13 12s ; Robertson, 8 cows, £8.
