London, August 6. The Russians state that their Joss at Plevna was only 5,000. Osmau Pasha's forces have been reinforced, and are now strongly entrenched at Plevna. The .Russians are encamped six railed east from Pievna.. Fighting is going on at Rasgrad on the railway line between Varna and Rustchuk. ; Tue .Russians after their defeat at Esky Sagura retreated m disorder. Sulietnen Bey occupies Rainborgaa Pass. Hobart Pasha is cruising m the Biack sea. . • • The expedition to the Caucasus has been abandoned. Relations between Greece and Turkey are critical. August 6th. The Russian position at Tirnova is menaced. Sulieinan Pasha drove the Russians out of Jblsky Saghra, south of the Balkans, and is pressing them hard. Reinforcements are being sent forward to Osnian Pasha at Pievna. The Russian troops are hurrying across the Danube, to retreive the Plevna disaster. Bombay, August 6. Sulieman Bey is actively pressing the Russians south of the Balkans. Mehemet AH is operating near Rasgrad, on the Varna and Rustchuk Railway, north of Shurala. The Turks are advancing from Osnian Bazar to Plevna, to join the forces under Osnian Pasha, Com-mander-iu-Chief. Latest intelligence from Asia Minor state 3 that the Russian-Com-mander, General Melikoft", has been reinforced, and a battle is now raging. .
