PROFESSOR HENNIKIE'S ENTER TAINMENT.

Last night, without further notice than a few bills posted just before dusk, a tolerable good audience was collected in the Barrack-room, Hamilton, to witueßs the magical enteitninment of Professor tiennikie and Stella (Mrs Henuikie). We uave not, uufurcunately, space to night to give tho notice Wis coulu wish of this really excellent performance, but many of our readers ure aware ot us meiits from recent notices of it in the Auckland fresi, The au. deuce, laat night, were delighted with the cleverness of the vaiious tricks of the Professor, who is known as the Wizard of tne East. More tspeeially, however, did the aerial suspausion of Madame Stella, and the Arabian box mystery puzzle aud amuße. The suspension by fciie elbow, on a slight wooden pole, not two inchea diameter, jor fully a quarter ot an hour, was w»ll subtaiued by Madame Stella, under the presumed influence of mesmerism, during which period, while in a state of statuesque rigidity^ she was dressed by tne Professor in the several national garba. Then followed the box inydtery, and lastly, tho distribution of gifts, the priucipal prizj falling to Mr Howe, blackauiib, of Hamilton.
