At Remuera, on Thursday, July 19, there waß a full supply of stock of every kind. Few reserves were made, but bidding was slow throughout, and the tendenoy of prices were to lower values. Dairy cows were in leas than usual numbers ; prices ranged from £4 10a to. £lO. Store cattle in larger supply than for several weeks. Calves ranged from 35s to 545; two-year-olds, £4 to £5 10a ; three-year-old heifers, £5 5s to £5 10s ; grown steers, £5 5s to £7. Fat cattle wore in average supply, 133 yarded, for choice quality 288 to 303 was obtained, but medium quality, ranged from 233 to 25s only. No store sheep yarded. Fat wethers of good and medium quality in full supply, 510 head sold, prices averaged 2| the H>. Pigs unusually numerous, prices ranged low—fat pigs of good quality brought 2* to 2f the lb, live weight; three months old store pigs, in good oondiiion, 6s to 9j each; lar«>e sows, with pigs at side, 45s each. Ave°rages obtained were : 17 oxen, Richard Kelly, £l3 5s j 1) oxen, John ecott, £9 17s ; 21 steers, Wilson, £7 Is ; 25 head, mostly cows, John Short, £3 la; 14 head, mixed sexes, Rutherford, £7 7s; 7 steers, A Stewart, £ll 84 61 ; 9 steera, Jas. Whyte, £7 10s; 50 wethers, T Hammond, 15s 3d; 163 wethers, H Kelly 143 lOd; 154 wethers, MoCrae Nicholson, 14 41; 38 wethers, J Forrest, 10s lOd : 10 wethers, R Kelly, 17a.
