In consequence of a quorum of Trustees not being present at the meeting advertised for the 26ih ult, the Hamilton West Township Highway District Board hereby give twelve days notion of their intention to.meet on MONDAY, the 23rd r'ay of July, 1877, at the Hamilton Hotel, Hamilton, at 7 o'clock p m, for the purpose of striking a rate of ninepenoe in the £ for the year ending 31st of March, 1878, and such rate will become payable in one sum on the First of October. 1877. Council at a special meeting held on 22nd inst 'That on and after the 21stof July next the existing By-lnws made by the Council to regulate the slaughtertering of Cattle within the County shall be repealed and others submitted by the Chairman and pasaed by the Council enacted instead. The new By-laws to be published in the Waikato Times newspaper and brought into lorce on the 21st day of July next.'
