Waikato Tnafes Office, Friday evening. At Remuera on Thursday, dairy cattle near oalving were numerous, but dull of sale, and many were withdr»wn. Store rattle m usual numbers and late values. Fat cattle m average supply ; 140 head yarded : prices very irregular throughout. The sale on the whole, last we?k's values were sustained.. Store sheep more numerous than usual, and at low values. Fat sheep of good quality abundant; prices lower than last week from id to id yet lb. Pigs m full supply, with a steady inquiry at better rates than for several weeks ; prices obtained were— For the Angora* goats, 15s each ; dairy oattle, from. £5 5s to £9 15a; dry cows, £3 5s to £5 ; four and five year old steers of coarse quality, £5 to £6 7s 6d ; oalves, 80s each; ut cows, 22s 6d to 265; steers, 25s to 289 the lOOlbs ; longwooled ewes, ia fair condition, 5s 6d to 11s 6d eaob ; lambs, Gs each ; tat sheep. 2jd to 3d the lb.
